New-ish [15 Mar 2005|11:48am]

Hello, i just joined this Hammerhead ccommunity.
I havent really put myslf deep into HL mapping.. i did make a couple of things though.
And now that i can make HL2 maps, i have started again, this time a little more serious.

I have followed some rope bridge tutorials and know how to make simple and advanced rope bridges, but there is one thing i need to know.
How do i change the "weight" of func_physbox entities? all my physical boxes seem very heavy, and i cant move them with my gravgun, yet they do swing a little when attached to ropes. But if i destroy the rope attachment the physboxes falls hard and the screen shakes a little... i really need a solution to this.

New member but anyway I just got into mapping for CS with a few friends of mine, namely szkud, and was looking for some good resource websites. Namely stuff to find wads and other useful items. I already downloaded the newest version of Hammer and have been checking it out in my spare time. Is there anything else I should get as well? What would you guys say is the best website or forum for this sort of thing? Just curious, thanks everybody.

Well, I was going to post some pictures of the new things I added to my map, but I came across a problem. Hopefully, this will get fixed up soon, and I can post some pretty pictures!

First post. Any interested mappers may find my maps at Global Assault, a great review site. My author name is Locke boy. I hope this community turns into something great. ^^
